I am a professor of economics at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. I am also a visiting professor at KU Leuven. 

My research focuses on the economics of innovation and intellectual property.

I earned a B.A. in economics from HEC Lausanne, and an M.Sc. in Economics for Development, as well as a DPhil. in economics from the University of Oxford.
